What are Cloud Services?

There is little doubt that one of the most talked about changes in IT over the last few years is Cloud Computing. Which probably makes it the most hyped, misunderstood or just plain confusing topic of conversation there can be!
The simplest explanation for using a cloud based solution is this – you are using internet based resources, whether it be infrastructure (storage, processing power) or software applictions instead of having to keep them in your office. And they are someone else’s problem – the whole point of the cloud is you don’t have to worry about the nuts and bolts, it is your service providers job to do this.
You can just get on with doing what you do best: running your business.
Not only do you have less to worry about, for most businesses using a hosted, cloud solution is far less expensive than trying to set up and maintain their own.
